A look back at 2024 and the next step

Shrine has been around for over a year now. In this newsletter I want to look back on the past year and inform you about the plans for the future.

Thanks to your involvement and support we have been able to achieve a lot in one year. New products, complete re-branding, improved packaging & shipping, new partnerships and much more.

New products:

Tallow & Magnesium Deodorant

Just like soap, deodorant is an indispensable part of our daily routine. Unfortunately, conventional deodorants often contain harmful substances that, after years of daily use, have a negative impact on your health. That is why we have developed a deodorant stick based on tallow, combined with the powerful and natural effect of magnesium hydroxide and green clay. This stick cares for your skin and effectively counteracts unpleasant odours.

Tallow Lip Balm

Some customers may remember the original Tallow & Honey lip balm. The honey has since been replaced with cocoa butter. This change was made to optimize the production process. The temperature required to quickly pour the product into the paper tubes did not work well with the fragility of the enzymes in raw honey. By adding cocoa butter, not only has the texture been improved, but the smell and taste have become even more luxurious.

The next step

After countless small batches, formula adjustments and valuable feedback, we have arrived where we are today. The results and reviews speak for themselves. The next step is to increase our production capacity. This means purchasing more and investing in better equipment. Once we can guarantee a consistent supply, we can move on to the next phase: expanding our reach.

Last year, over 60% of our sales came from Google Search, without any ads. As production allows, we plan to do more partnerships, sell our product in more locations, and use ads.

Shrine Lifestyle

From the beginning, my intention was to create more than just another cosmetics company. I saw Shrine not just as a brand, but as a nature-focused lifestyle, with natural skincare being just a small part of it. Now that we’ve built a small community and are working with some amazing partners, we want to embrace that vision even further. That starts with the launch of Shrine Apparel .


The easiest way to represent your ideals is through the clothes you wear. No commercial plastic junk from China but timeless designs of organic cotton and linen from Europe.

In addition to natural nutrition and skin care, this is the logical next step for those who want to embrace the natural lifestyle and continue to promote their health.
